Newcastle United co-owners Mehrdad Ghodoussi and Jamie Reuben have looked back on an incredible season with the Magpies after their final game of the season against Chelsea. Eddie Howe's side secured Champions League football with a game to spare with a draw against Leicester City.
That point made the final day of the season clash with Frank Lampard's Chelsea a free hit, but the Toon still picked up a respectable point at Stamford Bridge. Newcastle's 20-year wait for a return to the Champions League will come an end next season with both Reuben and Ghodoussi looking forward to another memorable season.
The Magpies could welcome the likes of Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and AC Milan to Tyneside in a group of death scenario, but it would be a welcome sign of how far they've come since the takeover on Tyneside.

Ghodoussi tweeted: "What an incredible season, so proud of this team and everyone associated with it. A huge thank you to all of you, for your unwavering support, you are the best and we never forget that.
"Next season won’t be easy, but I know we will give it our all. #NUFC #weareunited #HWTL @jamiereuben #championsleague."
Reuben replied: "Incredible indeed - thank you to all the traveling supporters today and every day as well as the entire @NUFC family, we have lots to look forward too, let’s keep UNITED and continue moving onwards and upwards."
