Newcastle United's owners were "scared" after seeing a scrambler bike driven into crowds outside Anfield.
Amanda Staveley and Mehrdad Ghodoussi, along with thousands of other fans, were walking through Stanley Park towards Anfield on Wednesday, August 31, when a scrambler bike flew through crowds outside the stadium. It's believed the vehicle was involved in a chase with an electric bike, MailPlus reports.
The bikes passed just a few feet in front of the Newcastle ownership party before eventually crashing in Stanley Park after officers intervened.
