A Newcastle man captured a spooky video of what he believes to be a UFO, hovering above the city.
Stephen Wilson was quick to grab his mobile phone, as he noticed a strange object 'tumbling' through the sky above Meadow Rise, in Westerhope, Newcastle on Thursday evening.
And it's not the first time that the 49-year-old has sighted strange things in the skies near his area - seeing unknown objects on a number of occasions.

Speaking to ChronicleLive about the occurrence, Stephen said: "I'd got in from work and I was washing my clothes - I went to take them out and put them in the garden. As I looked up, I saw this sparkly thing.
"I thought at first that it was a balloon, you know how people get birthday balloons and they let them off...but I was watching it tumble and I thought, that's not a balloon.
"My sister was here so I shouted her. She came out and I asked her if she could see it too. It was coming over the top and I started taking photographs.
"There was no sound, not an engine or anything. If it was a drone it would have been buzzing away."
He added: "It started moving quite fast. It stayed at the same height - about the height of a helicopter flying around - and then it turned and headed off towards the A1.
"From the minute you see that video, it took roughly about a minute for it travel where it went and away. It wasn't a balloon because a balloon would have went up, I mean, later on I was thinking about if it was a UFO or some sort of experimental drone.
"You know what's going on with Russia, is it something else? I don't know. It wasn't a plane, it wasn't a helicopter, definitely not a balloon because it was flashing. It's not the twinkling off the sun that, you can see it's physically flashing.
"It moved like a worm, it moved and then it changed, then it moved, then it changed - and it looked like it was tumbling all the time. I don't know if we have any drones that look like a balloon that people are flying about, but it didn't look like a drone to me like."
Stephen continued: "I shared the video on a UFO group to see what would happen, and apparently there was an incident in Gateshead on the same day at roughly the same time where all the car alarms went off."
Stephen also spoke of how this isn't the first UFO he has spotted in Newcastle itself, having previously identified strange objects in the sky in the past. In 2018 he spotted another Unidentified Flying Object nearby, while he also witnessed what he believed to be a similar object flying by in 2020.
What do you think Stephen captured on video? Let us know.
