After they launched to great success back in 2019, we are bringing back the Newcastle Loves awards for 2022 as we want to raise a glass to the people and places that make our city so great.
None of you, particularly involved in the hospitality sector, need reminding that the last few years have been an incredibly tough time due to the coronavirus pandemic. So we are bringing back Newcastle Loves to celebrate the venues and the teams behind them who have kept things going in spite of the many obstacles thrown in their way.
One of the categories in this year's awards is Best Pub, with whoever wins this time around, following in the footsteps of the first ever winner The Bridge Tavern, who took home the award in 2019, with The Old George in second place.
