We all love dining out and tend to have firm ideas about which restaurant we like most and it's there that we will return time and again.
Newcastle is rightly proud of its eating out scene and whether you've a taste for fine dining or prefer a more casual approach, the city covers all bases. We have much to celebrate here on the food scene, especially considering how badly hospitality suffered during its lockdown closure.
And now there's an opportunity to do just that. ChronicleLive is bringing back its Newcastle Loves Awards for 2022 and one of the categories inviting nominations is Best Restaurant. The awards, which first took place in 2019, have 12 categories in all, enabling people to have their say in which venues they think deserve recognition - and they range from Best Enertainment Venue and Best Pub to the best place for Sunday lunches.
