Around 60,000 music fans will be flocking to the Town Moor this weekend for two days of non-stop entertainment.
What's being billed as the region's biggest ever music festival will be getting the party started on Saturday with a line-up headlined by Black Eyed Peas. And day two of LooseFest - which will take up a huge new central location on the Town Moor in Newcastle - will see Good Luck singer Mabel in top spot in a playlist which is packed with big names.
Among the 70-plus artists playing across several stages over the weekend are Patrick Topping, Tinchy Stryder and - following his recent appearance on Love Island - DJ Joel Corry, who'll be adding to Saturday's bill. The festival site, where building work has been taking place over several days, will also include a food village, a big top, carnival, ferris wheel, installations and luxury toilet facilities.

Dean Saunders, a director of the team behind the event, said: "We can’t wait for everyone to come down and enjoy not just the music but the whole LooseFest experience all weekend long. We want this to become the annual event in everyone’s calendar."
He added: “The team has worked tirelessly to make sure that we deliver a music festival that the whole city and region can be proud of." Other names on the festival programme, which takes in retro, pop, disco and tech house, include Paul Woolford, Disciples, Flip n Fill, Clean Bandit, Jamie Jones, Lee Foss, Wilkinson, AJ Tracey, Dimitri From Paris, Hybrid Minds and Roger Sanchez.
Others include Example, Jonas Blue, Sigala, Alan Fitzpatrick, Bru-C and Solardo. Here's the line-up and the stage timings but remember times can be subject to change.
