A Newcastle kebab restaurant is offering customers bright pink kebabs that are said to be the first of their kind in the UK.
German Doner Kebab, which opened its first branch on Newgate Street last November, has announced it is serving the bold new product that it promises will "take the kebab to the next level."
The chain, which welcomed a number of Geordie Shore and Love Island stars when it opened including Chloe Ferry, Abbie Holborn and Sophie Kasaei and Brad McClelland, hopes its unusual creation will be a hit with kebab fans.

Diners can expect the kebabs to consist of doner meats, fresh lettuce, tomato, onion, and red cabbage, served up in a pink fluffy waffle bread. The "coconut-infused" bread is said to create a sweet nutty taste that mixes with the savoury kebab flavours.
Adventurous customers who fancy trying the pink offering will be able to choose from two sizes, the Coco kebab for £6.99 and Kiki kebab for £3.
Daniel Bunce, global chief operating officer at German Doner Kebab, said: “We’re excited to finally introduce the Coco and Kiki kebabs to our list of game-changing products and give our customers something disruptive and deliciously unexpected."
German Doner Kebab now has over 100 restaurants in the UK. Diners are able to see the kebabs freshly prepared in front of them and served in handmade toasted bread and the brand's 'signature' sauces.
