A Newcastle entrepreneur has launched a sustainable sock company inspired by the impact of climate change on his daughters' lives.
Marc Bucci, 36, has set up Social Socks, an eco-friendly range of socks that are free from single-use plastics as well as being delivered in fully recyclable packaging which fits through customers' letterboxes.
The business was spurred by Mr Bucci's concern that his daughters will not get to enjoy the same opportunities as him if global warming continues at the same speed it is at today.
