A Newcastle couple introduced their new baby to friends and family on Sunday . . . daughter Ocean. We revealed how Steph Shotton and partner Kenny Johns from Denton Burn had managed to keep the sex of their child secret since its birth on July 21 in the run up to a special 'big reveal' weekend party.
For the days leading up to the event they struggled to keep the answer to themselves as they were inundated with 'boy or girl?' enquiries by friends. Steph, 27, said: "It's been really hard to keep the secret as we wanted to tell everybody."
If their child had been a boy it would have ben called Zen, but on Sunday they introduced Ocean to their friends. "It's a big relief," said Steph.
