Newcastle 'body in freezer' sugar daddy killer died after refusing to shield from Covid in prison

A woman from Newcastle serving 25 years for killing her 'sugar daddy' boyfriend died of Covid-19 after refusing to shield from the disease despite being high-risk.

Sharon Swinhoe died aged just 52, while serving her sentence at HMP New Hall near Wakefield, Yorkshire.

In 2013 she was found guilt of murdering her retired civil servant boyfriend Peter McMahon, alongside accomplice Joseph Collins, before plundering his bank account for thousands of pounds.
