Quarantillo on the fight's key moment
“He’s super aggressive when he first comes out. He has a bunch of wins by first-round knockout, so I knew as long as I can match that pace and he doesn’t do too much damage, I can take over and start wearing him down and eventually break him.”
Quarantillo on fatherhood
“It’s changed my perspective quite a bit. Obviously, I have a mouth to feed and someone to raise. I’m looking at myself through his eyes and trying to be a role model, trying to be a good father.”
Quarantillo on what he wants next
“I talked to Sean Shelby backstage and said I want to be super busy in 2023. I’m hoping to fight three times, so my first fight will hopefully be early next year. Nate Landwehr called me out. I think I’m a little bit past him, but he can get it whenever. If they want me to fight Nate Landwehr, sign me up.”
