A newborn snow leopard cub appears to wave for the camera in an adorable clip posted by keepers at a Scottish wildlife park.
The Highland Wildlife Park team posted the video on their official Facebook page, after they welcomed at least two new additions to the fold at the end of May.
The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland’s (RZSS) run attraction, near Aviemore, confirmed the birth on Saturday (May 28) when high-pitched sounds were heard in the cubbing den and two tiny cubs were spotted by keepers snuggling with mum Animesh.
Now they've shared an exciting update, with one of the cubs being spotted at the door of the den.
They thanked keeper Emma for the clip and wrote: "Peek-a-boo! Check out this precious glimpse inside cubbing den with mum Animesh and one of our adorable snow leopard cubs!"
It's a precious glimpse for fans who won't be able to see the cubs in person yet as they remain with their mother until they are a little older.
Keith Gilchrist, living collections manager at Highland Wildlife Park, confirmed they are reliant on their mum for the first few months, but they will eventually be allowed to explore their surroundings as they grow and become stronger and more independent.
He added that they will give the cubs their first health checks in the coming weeks, and will then be able to confirm how many cubs Animesh has had.
As they grow the sexes of the cubs will be revealed and they will then be named.
One fan wrote: "Has to be the most stunning animal on the planet!"
While another added: "Beautiful can't wait to see them."
