Residents say they are excited to welcome new neighbours to the estate as the next phase of a Nottinghamshire housing development is set to launch this summer. Bellway will be releasing the first homes in phase three for sale at The Foresters in the popular Middlebeck housing development in Newark.
More than 100 further homes will be provided be the developer at the site, in addition to the 138 properties that were built during the first two phases. The latest phase includes 101 private homes and five affordable homes - all of are either two, three or four bedroomed homes.
Bellway started construction on the 7.5acre site in February 2018, and The Foresters is part of a wider neighbourhood of more than 3,000 homes, which are taking shape at the southern side of Newark. Residents already living there are excited to see more houses completed on the estate, as it means the development is nearing completion.

Mum, Hannah Gregory, 29, said: "Yeah it's good living here. Its nice, everyone is friendly, but I cant wait for them to finish down the road so we can get all the roads sorted and paths." Primary school teacher, Brandon Curtis, 24, has lived in his Bellway home for over a year.
When asked if he's looking forward to the next phase being completed he said: "I think so yeah, when it's not a building site anymore." Brandon also feels the estate is friendly and is "friends with some of the people around us as well."
Civil servant, Julie Littlejohn, 60, loves living on the estate. She said: "I've got a dog and Gannets across the way is dog friendly. It's great for dog walking here.
"I find it really peaceful and really quiet. I know they haven't built the A46 link road yet but at the moment its very quiet and it has excellent cycle paths."
Julie feels there are enough local amenities for her in the nearby area. She said: "We can get our paper from the garage and there's a co op down the road and we can get all our stuff delivered, as now that the estate is kind of established delivery drivers know where we are."
She added: "We have had lots of new builds and the Bellway lady was just so friendly from start to finish, couldn't have been kinder or more lovely." Communications worker, Tony Tallis, 29, has lived in his Bellway home for two years and enjoys living on the estate.
Tony said: "it's nice, there's easy access to the cycling track so we can get around very easily. It's an ideal location, it's like 10 minutes to get to the A46 and 5 minutes if that for the A1 and when the by pass comes it it will be even easier."
When asked if there was a good sense of community in the area, Tony said: "Yeah, I get on with all my neighbours."
Sales manager for Bellway East Midlands, Kenny Lattimore, said: "The 244 homes we are building at The Foresters represents a significant contribution towards the provision of much-needed new housing being delivered by the wider consortium of housebuilders at Middlebeck.
“Following the successful completion of 138 homes in the first two phases, we are now very much looking forward to launching the next phase of properties onto the market.
“Phases one and two of the development are now sold out, and they are currently selling their last showhome, so the delivery of these additional homes will continue to grow what is already a vibrant new neighbourhood in Newark."
Mr Lattimore added: "Demand for the homes at The Foresters has been particularly strong with local people, who have been impressed with the site’s desirable location on the southern edge of the town. This development benefits from an enviable semi-rural setting which has strong transport links to nearby towns and cities such as Nottingham, Leicester, Lincoln and Grantham, all of which can be reached in under an hour via the A46 or A1."
