New Zealand moves family visa applications to enhanced online system

New Zealand has transferred family of temporary visa holder applications to its enhanced Immigration Online platform from June 1, 2026, as the government continues to modernise its immigration services and streamline visa processing.

The change applies to a range of visas linked to temporary visa holders, including partner, child and dependent student visa categories. New applicants for these visas will now be automatically directed to the upgraded online system.
