A New York inspired sandwich shop with sites on Allerton Road and in Crosby has launched a competition to win free sandwiches and merchandise.
Derek's provides what it describes as the "most amazing sub list you've ever seen". These include the Gabagool, featuring Prosciutto, cappicola, and salami, and the Furio, made up of chipotle chicken, jalapeños and smoked cheese.
Now, it has announced on Instagram there's a chance for one fan to win three vouchers - the equivalent of six sandwiches - and an original Derek's jumper.

In order to win, deli fans simply need to follow Derek's Instagram page, show support in the comments of posts and share Derek's content on your own story. The winner will be announced next week.
This is a partnership with Independent Liverpool, which is offering 10% off at Derek's if you purchase its card, which offers similar discounts to independent venues across the city.
Derek's on Allerton Road was opened in 2021 by Ethan Woodroofe and Adam Taylor, two former students of King David High School In Wavertree. They were inspired by several trips to Brooklyn, and have since opened a new site in Crosby.
