For the first time in three years, the UK will be celebrating New Year's Eve without Covid restrictions.
Events have been planned up and down the country, including Edinburgh's famous three-day Hogmanay and London's ticketed fireworks display by the Thames.
It follows two years of muted celebrations.
In 2020 most of the UK was either in lockdown or under heavy restrictions, with virtually all events cancelled. The majority of households were forced to welcome in the new year at home, with their own bubble.
Although things were more relaxed last year, there were still some restrictions in place, meaning big events like Hogmanay couldn't take place.
With no restrictions this year, Brits are free to celebrate pretty much how they like, whether that's heading out on the streets for a spectacular fire works display or partying the night away at one of the many music nights planned.
Here we pick out a few of our favourite events planned across the country.
London
London's famous New Year's Eve firework display on the banks of the Thames are, quite literally, back with a bang after a two year hiatus. Around 100,000 ticket-holders are expected to watch the display, which launches by the London Eye, after Big Ben's 'bongs' ring out at midnight.
On the Strand, revellers can skate or dance their way into the new year at Somerset House. Moët and Chandon are hosting a night of DJs, ice skating and fireworks in the building's pretty courtyard.
Enjoy champagne and spiced winter cocktails as you listen to sets by Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK star Jonbers Blonde, Ash Rah (Soho Radio), Shimmy (Netil Radio), among others.
Manchester
Sadly there will be no big fireworks in the city centre this year due to budgetary pressures, but there will be a big screen countdown at Piccadilly Gardens. DJs throughout the evening, plus food and drink offerings are also planned.
Foodies, meanwhile, should head to Tattu, in Hardman Square. The restaurant will be offering specifically curated three-course menus featuring dishes such as Caramel soy aged beef fillet, Thai style crispy monkfish and a White chocolate dragon egg dessert, while resident DJs play the finest deep house.
If you're more of a party animal try Funkademia New Year's Eve at Mint Lounge. For just £11, revellers can dance away to a night of disco and funk tunes, from Stevie Wonder to Snoop Dog.

Cardiff
Families can see the new year in at Cardiff's Winter Wonderland, which will be open till 12.30pm on New Year's Eve.
The funfair, Sur La Piste and ice bar are located at City Hall Lawn, while the ice rink and ice walk are at the Castle Grounds.
For something more grown-up, head to the Coal Exchange Hotel, for their Great Gatsby New Year's Eve Soiree.
This will be a modern take on the 1920s classic, with authentic Jamaican food street food, showgirls, fire performers and music by Mista Trick Live.
Edinburgh
The city's annual Hogmanay is probably one of the world's most famous New Year's Eve celebrations.
Kicking off today (December 30), the three-day event brings thousands of partygoers to the streets of Edinburgh.
Sophie Ellis-Bextor and special guests, Altered Images play tonight, while the huge street party happens tomorrow, alongside the Concert in the Gardens headlined by the Pet Shop Boys.
Fireworks over Edinburgh Castle will happen at midnight.
Belfast
Celebrate in style at the Europa Hotel Belfast's annual Gala Ball.
There will be a champagne and canapé reception, followed by a five-course dinner, then dancing to the Motown Sensations and a Tina Turner tribute. Tickets start at £140 per person.
For something more budget friendly, try Nite Tales New Year's Eve neon-themed party, with live tunes spun by resident DJs til the early hours. Tickets, which start at £7, even get you free entry for the whole month of January.
Birmingham
One of Birmingham’s most vibrant bars is bringing all the energy on New Year's Eve with a glitter bomb party.
Tonight Josephine’s event will feature karaoke and lip sync battles on the dance floor. If you want to make the most out of the night, you can upgrade your package for £55 per person to include bottomless drinks and a table.
Nightingales, Birmingham's oldest and largest LGBT venue is going all out with its New Year's Eve Masquerade Ball.
Expect go-go dancers and more at this flamboyant but reasonably priced event (tickets from £8.17).

St Ives
New Year's Eve celebrations in St Ives in Cornwall have picked up a reputation for being pretty spectacular.
What was once a small, local affair, has grown into a large event which sees big crowds gather at the harbour to watch an impressive fireworks display over the water, with many wearing fancy dress costumes.
The party then carries on into the early hours.
