The hype for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is reaching a boiling point, especially after today’s Nintendo Direct.
On Thursday, Nintendo and Monolith Soft announced that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will have an expansion pass at launch. It’ll cost $29.99 and grant access to four waves of DLC. The first of which will release alongside the main game on July 29, 2022, consisting of outfits for specific characters and yet-to-be-revealed items. A second addon will add another hero character, more battle scenarios, and additional quests.
One massive piece of DLC will come out before the end of 2023, which will incorporate an all-new scenario. Nintendo also confirmed that none of this will be sold separately, so fans must shell out cash for the expansion pass if they want all of it.

The overall reception from this Nintendo Direct is pretty positive. Funny, considering everyone hated on it earlier this week. My, how quickly fans forget sometimes.
