Wales have slipped two places in the latest World Rugby rankings table after Saturday's crushing 55-23 defeat to New Zealand.
Wayne Pivac's side now sit in ninth position, below Argentina and Scotland and outside the top two tiers if World Cup seedings were being done now.
Fortunately for Wales, seedings for next year's tournament were actually done based on January 2020's rankings because of the Covid pandemic, meaning Wales, who were fourth at the time, are among the top seeds. Wales had briefly been ranked number one in the world in the summer of 2019.
