New Website Will Tell You If Your Friends Actually Voted Or Just Said They Did

A new website has been created that can tell users if their friends actually voted in the election, or if they just said they did.

The site DidMyFriendsVote.org allows those who are curious to check on their friends and family's voting history by entering their name, age range and the city and state they live in.

The team behind the new website said they created the search tool to "encourage people to learn about their voting record, about voting and about how they can help their friends and neighbors remember to vote," according to their website.

Users will only be able to check whether or not someone voted, not whom they voted for.

Since the site is powered by publicly available voter histories, some may not have their histories accurately reflected, such as individuals who have recently moved.

The site said they will continue to update information for the Nov. 5 election as they receive it.
