Met Eireann has extended an eight-hour weather warning to another county - amid fears fallen trees and "hazardous" driving conditions could cause havoc in Galway.
The western county joins Donegal, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo as areas which are expected to see strong winds on Wednesday afternoon and evening.
The gusts will be so strong that the national forecaster have issued an eight-hour wind warning.
