From March 1, drivers across Scotland and the rest of the UK will see a host of new number plates hit the roads.
These changes will mean that the current '72' plate - that was implemented in September 2022 - will be swapped out in just a week. This will be replaced in both March and September, with March's '23' plate coming the soonest. The new plate in September will follow suit, recognised by '73' as the main numbers on the registration plate, reports the Express.
These new license plates will be identifiable by the third and fourth characters in the seven-character code - with next weeks plates having two and three as their third and fourth characters - as in the year 2023.
