A new trailer for Verity has arrived, and I'm ready to have a few nightmares.
In the brief clip, which can be viewed above, Lowen Ashleigh (Dakota Johnson) is hired to ghostwrite the remaining novels in a successful series penned by world-renowned author Verity Crawford (Anne Hathaway) after she becomes paralyzed due to a mysterious accident. Verity's husband (Josh Harnett) insists that Lowen is the perfect writer for the job... but it's not long before she discovers Verity's secret, autobiographical writings that reveal the truth about her life and marriage, and starts to lose her mind.
