A new summer train timetable has been announced by train operator East Midlands Railway (EMR) between Nottingham and Skegness. Four services between the two destinations have been added by EMR.
The additional trains will start on May 15, where passengers can travel from Nottingham to Skegness at 8.46am and 1.46pm. The two additional returns, from Skegness to Nottingham, will be at 11.14am and 4.14pm.
These services were removed due to low Winter demand. But it's now expected they will remain in place until further notice.

Later in the year, every Saturday from July 23 through to September 10, a Summer special service will run. That means trains with more luggage space will run on certain routes.
These trains will begin and end at Derby, but will run through Nottingham. The services which begin at 7.58am and 9.23am in Derby, and return from Skegness at 11.42am and 1.44pm, will have the additional space.
Neil Grabham, customer services director for EMR, said: "Our Skegness route is very popular with our customers in the summer and every year we help thousands of families as they head to the coast to enjoy all the treats the seaside getaway can offer. The Class 180 Intercity style trains will offer customers more luggage room, while the increase of the summer services will also provide people more options of when to travel."
Alex Saul, resort director at Butlin's Skegness, said: "It's great news to see more services coming to Skegness in time for our busy summer season. Increasing the service gives guests more options when planning their journey to resort for their holiday. With the return of our popular day visits, we know many guests will be using the train to enjoy a fun filled day at Butlin’s Skegness."
