Saracchi spent last season on loan at Celtic, providing cover for Kieran Tierney but still making a strong impression as the club secured a league and cup double.
Despite a limited role, the former RB Leipzig defender became a popular figure among supporters, and O’Neill is now keen to secure a permanent return if a deal can be struck.
Aside from Leipzig and his current club, Boca, Saracchi has also played for River Plate, Levante, Galatasaray, and Danubio, starting his career at the latter side.
