Popular high street brand H&M will reopen its doors at Cabot Circus next week following a four month refurbishment and expansion. The store off Pen Street is set to reopen at 10am on Thursday, June 22.
In recent months people visiting Cabot Circus will have noticed the store has been boarded up while the refurbishment work took place, and some eagle-eyed shoppers will have noticed that H&M plans to expand into the empty Victoria's Secret unit next door.
A sign for H&M Home has gone up above the new store front, which means the retailer plans to bring its home section to Bristol. The store will also have click and collect lockers and self service tills similar to what's on offer at stores in Bath and Cheltenham.
Gemma Leach, H&M UK & IE head of construction and facilities, said: “It is fantastic to finally be bringing our much-loved H&M Home concept to our Cabot Circus store. This will be the largest H&M store in the area, where customers can enjoy our curated fashion and interior collections in a newly designed space which celebrates style and creativity.
"We cannot wait to welcome our Bristol customer back to the new and improved store on June 22 at 10am.” Along with all the additional details that have been added, the store has also had quite the makeover inside.
Lisa Jones, general manager of Cabot Circus, said: “We’re really excited by the reopening of H&M and introduction of H&M Home as we continue to bolster our Brigstowe Street entrance with household favourites and new concepts which engage and excite our customers.
"H&M have created a market leading homewares, décor and furniture proposition in H&M Home and we look forward to seeing our customers shop for the latest collections and styles.”
