New Star Games has released some updates across its football lineup, touching the Apple Arcade exclusive NFL Retro Bowl 26, along with Retro Bowl and Retro Bowl College on iOS and Android devices. Each game gets a mix of tuning, bug fixes and small quality-of-life tweaks.
For NFL Retro Bowl 26, the roster grows with 55 new players across multiple positions, including quarterbacks, receivers, linemen and defensive backs. Nearly all of them can be assigned to teams through the Advanced Options menu. Kicking distance has been increased and a handful of stat-tracking issues have been cleared up so “longest” records display the way they should. A readout for the Player Development setting has been added to the League/Restarts screen and a gameplay crash has been addressed.
Retro Bowl also gets a bump in kicking distance, updated team strengths heading into 2025, a fix for a crash tied to resetting uniform data and a solution for problems caused by transferring corrupted Editor data between saves. Android players also regain the second font that had gone missing.
Retro Bowl College focuses mainly on stability with a fix for an Exhibition Mode crash, a dedicated reset button for Pro team Editor issues and the same safeguard against broken Editor data being carried between saves.
