Thatgamecompany announced a new Sky Children of the Light season, the Season of Passage, and the MMO’s latest update is all about building something together.
Season of Passage sees you and other Sky children live through the memories of four teenage spirits as they underwent their rites of passage – hence the name. The goal is completing tasks with a growing number of helpers and learning what it takes to build a community – which means leaving no one behind. You can’t finish tasks unless everyone joins in, and no one gets left behind.
The new seasonal quests begin after sunset in different parts of the in-game world, and while they’re designed to be completed with larger groups of other players, thatgamecompany said you can finish the quests entirely on your own as well.
Taking part in the seasonal quests will earn you new cosmetics and an instrument you can use to play any music that strikes your fancy.
Like any live-service game, the new season comes with a new season pass that gives you the chance to earn new trees and gifts from the season guide if you buy the pass.
The new season runs from April 17, 2023, through June 25, 2023, on consoles, PC, and mobile devices.
