New Simpsons episodes to arrive on Disney+ including Black Mirror spoof

  • Disney+ has announced that three new episodes of The Simpsons will be exclusively available on the streaming service this summer.
  • The first, a double-episode titled 'Extreme Makeover: Homer Edition', is set to arrive on 17 June, featuring guest stars Betty Gilpin, Laufey, and Tegan and Sara.
  • A noir parody episode named 'Simpsley' will be released on 3 June, focusing on Marge's adventures as a con-artist in Italy.
  • Finally, a Black Mirror parody titled 'Yellow Mirror' will become available on 26 August, exploring themes of reality and AI.
  • The long-running animated sitcom recently completed its 37th season, with showrunner Matt Selman downplaying speculation that a forthcoming film could serve as its finale.
