The Mall at Cribbs Causeway has welcomed some new brands in recent months, adding to the shopping centre's broad offering. A host of new stores have already arrived at the shopping centre as part of a series of new occupational deals awarded over the past year.
There have also been some new arrivals at the Venue down the road, including Ninja Warrior Bristol, an obstacle course inspired by the hit ITV show. The Hollywood Bowl also experienced a grand makeover at the end of last year. Soon the area will be home to a brand new crazy golf centre, launching in May.
Cribbs Mall is home to more than 150 shops and restaurants. This year has already seen the arrival of some unexpected retailers, including several fashion brands. Here's a rundown of all of the new additions you'll find if you're yet to visit in 2023:

Bristol John Lewis' Live Unlimited
Opening in John Lewis, Live Unlimited specialises in creating beautiful clothes that fit and flatter people who might not feel catered to in mainstream high street shops.
Rachel Heather, CEO & Co-founder said: “We are extremely proud of the success Live Unlimited has achieved with our partners John Lewis in store. The retail space John Lewis provides enables new and existing Live Unlimited customers the opportunity to touch, feel and try our products, bringing beautiful, high quality plus size fashion to more women than ever."
Build-A-Bear
At the end of last year, Build-A-Bear closed its doors suddenly but said it planned to reopen in another unit in 2023. The brand then moved into a larger unit formerly occupied by The Works. Build-A-Bear reopened at the end of February this year, offering the experience of making your own custom soft toys, plushies and teddy bears.
The Works
Fortunately, the popular crafts and stationery store didn't close up for good. It has relocated to another unit on the lower floor of the Mall next to Quiz, towards the John Lewis end.
Charles Tyrwhitt
Charles Tyrwhitt opened a branch in Bristol for the first time on March 24 in the Mall. The fashion brand started its journey in Bristol almost four decades ago.
Launched in 1986 when founder Nick Wheeler was living in Clifton, Charles Tyrwhitt makes high-quality menswear for all occasions. The 1,600 sq ft store is located on the upper floor near John Lewis stocking Tyrwhitt’s full collection of high-quality, shirts, suits, casualwear, shoes and accessories.
Polestar
Polestar is a Swedish premium electric vehicle manufacturer. The electric car company has arrived at the shopping centre and Polestar’s new space at Cribbs Mall is the first in the South West and the company's fifth site in the UK.
It will use the space to showcase its range of electric cars. Test drives can be conducted on-site, deliveries can be scheduled to home or office addresses and there is no stock held to try and persuade buyers away from their desired configuration.
Stores still to come
Mango was one of the five sites announced in the shopping centre's big plans last year but is yet to open. The retailer previously told BristolLive that it's likely to open in "May, June or July".
Decathlon recently confirmed it has decided not to progress plans to open a store in the shopping centre after reports previously suggested it was being lined up to open at the site.
