Morrisons, Tesco and Waitrose have announced limits on how much cooking oil shoppers can buy as a result of supply-chain problems caused by Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
According to the BBC, Waitrose and Morrisons will allow customers two items each while Tesco will grant shoppers three products. The British Retail Consortium's (BRC) Tom Holder said the move was a temporary measure "to ensure availability for everyone".
Iceland has also joined Morrisons, Tesco and Waitrose in introducing such measures. Managing Director Richard Walker said his shops were having to ration sunflower oil sales to one bottle per customer.
