An ambitious husband and wife duo are set to open a new restaurant in Irvine's Rivergate Shopping Centre.
Natalie and Jonathan Gray are gearing up to open the highly anticipated Gray's Kitchen in the town's mall.
The pair also celebrated the five-year anniversary of their takeover of The Corner Shop in Kilwinning this month.
And now the successful restaurateurs feel like it's time to expand.
Work is already underway and Jonathan and Natalie have patrons mouth's watering by teasing pictures online of the delicious grub soon to be on offer.
But the pair have no set opening date for the restaurant.
Chef Jonathan, who worked as the head chef in Adesso and The Clubhouse, explained: "We're not rushing, I would much rather take the time it needs to get the place perfect.
"I've worked as a chef for 20 years and the biggest focus I have for Gray's will be packing the menu full of flavour and making the restaurant a really friendly place to visit and have a bit of banter too.
"I want people to physically enjoy their food and Gray's will offer a similar menu to the popular items at The Corner Shop, thing's like burgers, loaded fries, and comforting breakfast food."
The power couple chalks their drive down to the 2020 lockdowns.
Natalie added: "We're so excited to be expanding into a bigger space. There is a lot of hard work in front of us but it's going to be really good for us too.
"Our five-year anniversary at The Corner Shop is on Wednesday, December 21.
"It started off as a paper shop and we slowly built it up but after Covid hit that gave us the kick to revamp the full place and it's grown a lot in the space of just two years.
"We're so pleased with the reaction our posts have gotten online, the response has been really good.
"I love Jonathan's food, everyone compliments his burgers but my favourite dish right now has to be the loaded fries, they're delicious!"
