Ayrshire's newest restaurant is getting set to open its doors - with bosses giving customers a sneak peak behind the scenes.
The Bistro will begin trading in Ayr's Sandgate next week.
The team behind the nearby Smoking Goat Bar & Grill are set for a new chapter as they expand within the town, aiming to build on the success of their award-winning Academy Street venue.
Taking over former fine dining haunt MacFarlane, the new Bistro is to open on Wednesday, December 7.
Announcing the exciting news on Facebook, boss David Storrie said: "We are delighted to offer lunch and dinner, teas and coffees, lunch takeaways throughout December…but will also be bringing you breakfast in the new year alongside many other offerings.
"The Bistro invites you to experience fresh local produce, fantastic atmosphere and casual but classic gourmet dining options."
The venue will stock wines from Ayr's Corney & Barrow outlet and fine whiskies from Robbie's Whisky Merchants.
