The New England Patriots’ 2023 season has officially ended, and a new report is shedding light on the mood around Gillette Stadium, as several are waiting on the fate of coach Bill Belichick.
As of right now, Belichick is under contract. He confirmed as much during his end-of-season press conference with reporters. He intends to serve as the team’s coach until a move, if any, is made.
That still does not offer job security to any of his assistant coaches, with several of them in the final years of their contracts. Boston Sports Journal’s Mike Giardi laid out the mood in Foxboro in a tweet on Monday.
