  • Average UK diesel prices reached a record high of 199.18p per litre on Monday, surpassing the previous record set in June 2022.
  • The cost to fill an average family car with diesel has risen to almost £110, representing a £31 increase since the start of the US-Iran war in February.

  • Unleaded petrol prices have also climbed significantly in recent weeks, reaching an average of 174.13p per litre.
