If you've exhausted the dating apps and the pandemic has halted your dating life, then you might want to consider taking part in a brand new TV show helping single adults find true love. A TV production company is on the lookout for “open-minded” singletons to be part of their upcoming dating show set in the Mediterranean.
The TV programme will feature 12 contestants, all aged between 25 and 35, who will jet off to a romantic sun-soaked island in Greece. It's being made by Barefaced TV, the same team behind Snog, Marry, Avoid, and part of the STV Studios family.
Despite sounding similar to hit ITV2 show Love Island, this new dating programme will have a completely new approach to matchmaking. Barefaced TV is hoping that lonely hearts tired of those awkward first dates and constantly scrolling through dating apps will take part the quest for love.
If you're currently single and thinking of applying, you should be aged between 25 and 35 and “serious about finding long-lasting love”. Rosie Bray and Lucy Golding, creative directors at Barefaced TV, said: “This series will be unlike any dating show we’ve seen before. If you’re single, open-minded, ready to find The One, and partial to a bit of Greek sun, we’d love to hear from you!”
To take part in this brand new dating series which will air on discovery+, email newdatingshow@stv.tv. Applications close on Friday, April 22.
