New rare error £2 coin found by experts and it could be worth £2,000

Royal Mint eBay Coin Hunter Gold silver

A new £2 error coin “never seen before” by experts is being flogged online for £2,000.

The coin in question was released in 2022 to celebrate 150 years of the FA Cup.

Like all £2 coins, which are bi-metallic, the design features the standard gold-coloured ring outside made of Nickel-brass and a silver-coloured centre made of Cupro-nickel.
