A new PureGym is set to open its doors in Tyldesley next month.
The Castle Street site, near to the Pelican Centre and the Union Arms will open at 12pm on Tuesday, September 27. It is believed the gym will create 12 new jobs for the area.

The large box gym is spread over 12,733 sq. ft and will be open 24/7 to cater for all exercise needs with hundreds of pieces of equipment as well as a functional zone, free weights area, fixed resistance, cardio equipment and a fitness studio. A ‘huge range’ of classes will all be included within the membership price, the gym has said, with personal trainers available.
A spokesperson for PureGym, said: “Ever since we opened our first gym in Manchester Spinningfields in 2009, our flexible, affordable fitness proposition has remained incredibly popular as more and more people have come to recognise the benefits of exercise for both their physical and mental health. PureGym Tyldesley will be open 24/7 and will offer members access to low price, state-of-the-art fitness facilities whenever they choose.
