New programmes launched to help Renfrewshire residents get back into work

Renfrewshire Pandemic Richard Lochhead Scottish Government Universal Credit

Three new job support programmes worth £750,000 have been launched.

These are aimed at breaking down barriers to getting people into work and boosting Renfrewshire’s recovery from the pandemic.

Councillor Andy Steel, Renfrewshire Council’s convener for Economy and Regeneration, made the announcement during a visit to the area by Scottish Government Minister for Just Transition, Employment and Fair Work, Richard Lochhead.
