The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has confirmed that there will be new payment rates kicking in from April 2023.
Chancellor Jeremy Hunt confirmed these changes in his Autumn Statement in November 2022, reports Birmingham Live. All DWP and HMRC benefits will be getting a 10.1 per cent rise in the upcoming financial year, based on the September 2022 inflation rate that was published before the decision was made.
These benefits will include disability allowances such as Adult Disability Payments, Attendance Allowance and Carer's Allowance.

Around 1.5 million people claim Attendance Allowance, which aims to help with extra living costs if you have reached State Pension age and have a disability that's severe enough to need someone to help look after you.
Another 1.3 million people claim Carer's Allowance for looking after someone who is on a disability benefit. So, how will these benefits be affected with the new payment rates?
All are weekly rates unless otherwise stated.
