A new adaptation of the beloved fantasy novel The Neverending Story is currently in development by Michael Ende Productions and See-Saw Films. The two companies have formed a joint-venture partnership to bring the iconic tale back to the big screen in a series of live-action movies.
Originally published in 1979 by German author Michael Ende, The Neverending Story follows the journey of a young boy named Bastian who discovers a magical book that transports him to the enchanting world of Fantastica. Tasked with saving this endangered realm, Bastian must navigate the boundaries between reality and imagination to fulfill his destiny.
