New Midlothian primary school site included in housing estate plans

Midlothian Council

Plans for nearly 400 new houses on the edge of a Midlothian village include space for a primary school and shared street spaces.

Details of the plans for Auchendinny have been revealed in a planning application lodged with Midlothian Council by Bellway Homes.

It reveals the new 395-home estate will set aside land for a new primary school with the majority of the 98 affordable housing units included in the plans nearest to the site.
