Love Island's newest bombshell Jay Younger has a famous football relative just like Gemma Owen.
Jay, an investment analyst who hails from Edinburgh, will join the villa in today's episode alongside 22-year-old model Remi Lambert - but Jay has revealed that like Gemma, he has a famous relative in the sporting world too.
Gemma is the daughter of former Liverpool FC star and England international Michael Owen and ahead of his villa entry, Jay has opened up about his famous relative too, who played for the same club as Michael himself.
Jay has revealed his grandfather was also a famous footballer too.
Asked if he has any claims to fame, he said: "My grandad played for Liverpool and he was captain of Scotland back in the 1950s. He was in the hall of fame for Liverpool and he was in the hall of fame for Hibernian F.C."
Jay's grandfather is Scottish football star Tommy Younger. He made his debut for Liverpool, for which Michael also played for, in August 1956, with his last appearance for the club taking place three years later.
The goalkeeper also captained Scotland's 1958 World Cup squad and played for his country on a handful of occasions.
Now this summer, Jay is looking for love and says his friends and family would describe him as "quite unassuming" but he vows to be at the centre of the party, adding: "They would probably describe me as quite unassuming but they’d say I am probably the heart of the party. I think I am at the point in my life where it would be quite fun to find someone and have fun along the way. And doing it in Mallorca and in the Villa would be a great opportunity, so why not?"
However, he could be causing quite a stir in the villa as he admits he is very "indecisive".
"I think I am going to be a supportive Islander, I think I am going to bring a lot of fun. Hopefully some good laughs along the way and maybe some indecisive decisions," he shared.
However, he thinks he's a great catch, adding: "I think I genuinely have what most females want. I’ve got a good job, I think I am a good looking lad and I have a lot of fun so I feel like I could add a lot of value to their lives if they add a lot of value to mine."
