TV star Maya Jama has shown off her stunning figure as she posed in a bikini on her Instagram as she prepares to film the new series of Love Island.
Presenter Maya Jama will take over from previous host Laura Whitmore as she presents the Winter Love Island series, which will air early next year. Laura announced she was stepping down from the ITV reality show this summer, as she branded the show's format "very difficult".
The series will be the first season of the winter reality dating show since 2020, where viewers watched as loved up couple Finley Tapp and girlfriend Paige Hurley won.
The new series will film in South Africa and feature a new set of singletons in the stunning villa as they hunt for love and relationships.
As new host Maya gets ready for the new series, she shared a sexy selfie to her Instagram stories showing off her curves in a strappy bikini. Captioning the stunning snap, she wrote: "Never posted this but it's cute."
The 28-year-old can be seen slicking back her hair fresh from a dip in the pool behind her as she relaxes in a luxury villa complex.
Maya has also been preparing for her Love island presenter debut, as she shared Instagram Stories alongside her personal trainer in the gym ahead of the return of the hit dating show.
Her trainer captioned the snaps: "I GOT A MESSAGE. Love Island, your new host is in shape and ready."
Maya has taken over from previous host Laura, and was announced as the new host after Laura released a statement detailing why she wouldn't return to the ITV reality show.
She wrote: "Some news! I won’t be hosting the next season of Love Island.
"There are certain elements of the show I’ve found very difficult that cannot be changed some due to the format, including the flying back and forth to South Africa along with my new conflicting projects.
"I wish it was still possible but know you’ll be in safe hands. I was only planning to fill in for Caroline for a season and it turned into three seasons. I hope I did you proud Caroline."
Love Island returns this January on ITV2 and ITVX.
