New Look is shutting another store for good tomorrow in yet another blow to the UK high street.
The fashion retailer's Stockton-on-Tess site at Teesside Retail Park will be closing for the final time on Friday, July 7
In a statement about the closure, New Look said it's priority was to "support affected store colleagues" and find them alternative roles within the business "wherever possible".
New Look has not confirmed the reason for the closure of its Stockton-on-Tees site, although a report by the Nothern Echo claims the decision was made by Teeside Park landlords.
For shoppers in Teeside, the closest New Look store will now be its site at The Cleveland Centre.

The latest site to go comes after a string of closures earlier this year.
The business closed two sites in Birmingham in January while another in Trowbridge shut for good the same month.
At the same time two branches in Coventry and Walthamstow, London, closed in January and February.
It closed its Witham branch in May as well with another going in June.
However, New Look has previously defended the closures and told The Mirror that it was part of the "normal course of business".
In a statement previously shared with the Mirror about the closures, a New Look spokesperson said: "New Look occasionally closes sites, but also opens new stores when the right opportunities arise."
New Look also told Mirror Money that it opened two new stores towards the end of last year and was planning to open a further four this year.
Most recently the retailer opened a new site in Sunderland in April - the new site was a combination of two which previously housed HMV and a former Disney store.
In total, New Look operates over 400 stores in the UK.
The retailer has been a prominent figure on the British high street since the 1960s, selling womenswear, menswear and children’s clothing.
Over the last few years, it has struggled to compete with the popularity and pricing of online outlets.
Back in 2018, New Look said it may have to close down more than 100 branches nationwide.
