A punk-inspired booze and chicken wings bar has opened in Leeds city centre.
And Cult Wing, which opened today at the Merrion Centre, has the city's – if not Britain's – biggest tequila bar with more than 200 examples of Mexico's most famous spirit. Don't try them all at once.
If tequila isn't your bag there are craft beers from Leeds breweries Wilde Child and North Brewing plus pints of Cult Wing's own Cult Cartel beer on tap. The bar and restaurant boasts 'funky décor and laid back, yet attentive style of service'.

It promises a fresh ingredients-only menu plus 200 original artworks by local graffiti artists.
Charles Newman, associate director of Town Centre Securities PLC which owns the Merrion Centre, said: "Cult Wing really is a cool new edition to the ever-expanding restaurant scene at the Merrion Centre. Its casual dining offer and amazing tequila bar will be a huge draw in the city.
"It is perfectly located on Merrion Way opposite the 13.5k capacity first direct Arena with direct access to the growing student population. We think it will fast become one of the trendiest places to hang out in the Leeds’ Arena Quarter."
Cult Wing marketing manager Denitsa Sharankova said: "Everyone is welcome at Cult Wing which is alternative, edgy and exploding with creative energy and we are thrilled to open our new venue in the heart of Leeds Arena Quarter. We can’t wait to introduce guests to our fresh food, beers, cocktails – and our extensive menu of almost 200 tequilas in the city’s biggest tequila bar."
