Ireland captain Johnny Sexton could be in even more hot water, after reports of a fresh row with officials emerged.
The 37-year-old is in line to bow out of a sensational international career at this year's World Cup in France, with the Irish among the favourites to win the Webb Ellis Cup.
But Sexton's immediate future is now the subject of much speculation, with new video footage appearing to show him confronting officials a second time after last month's Leinster v La Rochelle Champions Cup final.
The fly-half is already alleged to have told Jaco Peyper he was a "f*****g disgrace" when he approached officials after the game on May 20th. The star was unavailable for the game through injury, but still made his feelings known.
City A.M. reported that officials were asked for witness statements, with one individual describing the behaviour from the British and Irish Lion as "intimidating".
And they have now published footage of an alleged second row that took place. Sexton can be seen approaching the group of officials as they walk from the field, before Karl Dickson puts a halt to the Irishman's advances by waving a hand towards him.
Sexton is said to have received a formal misconduct letter from EPCR disciplinary chiefs, detailing the allegations.
If further action is taken and threatening behaviour proven, the legendary 10 could face a ban that would affect Ireland's World Cup plans and, at worst, end Sexton's career if it were deemed worthy of harsh punishment.
Ireland will play three warm up matches this summer in preparation for their World Cup charge, against Samoa, England and Italy.
