Thousands of New Jersey seniors have a chance to get free, in-person help with the state’s new combined property tax relief application this week. The New Jersey Division of Taxation is holding several filing assistance events in July where residents can receive one-on-one help completing the new PAS-1 application for Senior Freeze, ANCHOR, and Stay NJ benefits.
Beginning this year, eligible homeowners use a single PAS-1 application to apply for three major property tax relief programs: Senior Freeze, ANCHOR, and Stay NJ, replacing the separate applications used in previous years.
