Mayor Michael Melham of Belleville has raised concerns over the recent sightings of mysterious drones in the state of New Jersey. The mayor stated that the state government has issued guidance to local authorities on how to handle downed drones.
According to officials, fire departments have been instructed to contact the nearest bomb squad immediately and to wear hazmat suits when approaching a fallen drone. This precaution is due to uncertainty regarding the presence of any potential payload on the drones.
