New Italian Sports Car Project Comes In Three Versions

Angelelli Automobili has introduced the Tipo 829, a project seven years in the making. The Tipo 829 takes its name from the internal project code used for the 1970s Lancia Stratos HF rally car, and it explores multiple versions on a shared technical base.

The Tipo 829 uses a six-cylinder 3.4-liter engine making about 500 horsepower. Angelelli Automobili presents it as one chapter in the Tipo 829 story, with the name paying tribute to the Stratos HF and the Terra variant focused on mixed-surface performance rather than a single track or grand touring version.
