Steel manufacturer ArcelorMittal has relocated its West Midlands operation to a new home. The 45-strong team is now working from its new base in 7,060 sq ft office space at the Friars Gate complex in Solihull.
Property agency KWB secured the letting for the company earlier this year while its fitout arm KWB Workplace has carried out the internal renovations ahead of the move from its previous base on Fore Business Park, in Shirley.
Works included bespoke office design, a new kitchen, break out areas, meeting rooms and branding.
Karen Reading, company secretary at ArcelorMittal said: "We're really happy with KWB's work and delighted to be in our new office. It's bright and airy and really suits our needs.
"We needed a smaller space in a convenient location with parking and this fits the bill perfectly."
KWB Workplace director Adrian Southall added: "I'm really pleased to see ArcelorMittal settled into their new base and it was great to work with them again.
"This was a complex job and I'd like to thank the various contractors for their hard work in getting it across the line and to budget. Having previously moved Caterpillar Financial into the ground floor of Friars Gate meant we also had that experience to build on."
